a new love

well, we've had an another addition to Miss Thing's ever-expanding Christmas list:

it's bound to happen when you take your animal lover to a reindeer barn:


I couldn't help myself, I love him too. although not enough to want to be responsible for any other animal that breathes, eats and poops. :) if he could fly like rudolph, it might be a different story!


kate was a little unsure of the sleigh but lucy and emma sure loved it!

so sadly we had to say goodbye to the beloved reindeer and leave the christmas TREE FARM that was 25 minutes away to go to buy a christmas tree 1/2 a mile down the road from our house. I know, crazy, right?? unless you don't want to drive down the interstate with a tree strapped to your precious new car and your kiddos could really care less about tools and the actual cutting of the tree.




and we let emma make the final decision and we all think she made the perfect choice!!
