we need something to do when short naps occur and we are trying to stay outside since the house is actually clean in preparation for Wade's neighborhood poker thingy. We'll take....Pool for 100....Beach for 1,000....Something that involves water, puhlease!


the goggle wearing {which lasted literally 30 minutes, hence the imprints} was completely lulu queen's idea! putting her favorite chair in the shade was completely mine!


kate was not as interested in the swimwear but was very interested in the {solo} kid's beach chair:


moments like this one make me want to stop time. it's like they're talking to each other in their own language and then laugh at whatever in the world it is that they're talking about. it very well could be a plot to take down my mental state.


the story went like this...kate decided she wanted to share the chair with lucy...lucy did not like this idea....beach party over....we went to the backyard with the dogs.....


and baxter knocked kate down and gave her a fat lip. by my choice, she spent the rest of the day in my lap, on my hip or under a kiss!
